Students Lead Positive School Cultures

  • Create a Peer Mediation Council.
  • Convene monthly, interactive, student-led sessions.
  • Review and discuss the school’s or district’s Code of Conduct policies.
  • Analyze the policies and create a chart of current consequences for violating each.
  • Propose new, restorative, alternative consequences for policy violations.
  • Work with teachers and administrators to gain approval to add restorative practices to the school’s disciplinary actions.
  • Develop messages and media campaign to promote positive behaviors.
  • Initiate and lead positive behavior campaign.
